Responsibilities

The Director, Relationship Marketing and Retention is responsible for developing retention, and loyalty-related marketing programs for the 1800flowers.com brand, including the overall customer contact strategy. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Customer Relationship Management in the strategy and implementation of marketing plans designed to increase retention of new and existing customers and member enrollment in the following programs: Fresh Rewards Loyalty Program, and Gift Reminder Program. The candidate should have solid direct marketing, relationship marketing, retention and loyalty program management experience. Also hands-on experience in customer contact management and marketing through multiple channels: email, direct mail, phone and web channels and a solid understanding of analytics, including segmentation and modeling and applicable metrics for all tactics and channels.

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to retain and activate existing customers. Focused efforts on retaining best customer segment, new customer retention (second purchase program), and related up-sell and cross-sell strategies. Manage comprehensive marketing campaigns through campaign management tool.
  • Responsible for the customer contact strategy and all relevant touch points including the development of a customer contact map and a daily review of key performance metrics for each touch point. Develop hypothesis based on data and analytics and formulate tests of offers, creative, tactics and segmentation to prove or disprove hypothesis and recommend action plans to improve performance.

Experience

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Public Relations will guide external public relations agencies and coach the internal PR team. This role supports the business by seeking opportunities with key external stakeholders, primarily media. The Senior Manager, Enterprise Public Relations must be able to collaborate and influence key internal stakeholders cross-functionally to manage and enhance consumer, business and trade communication programs. The candidate must be an excellent project manager, possess strong media relations skills, have team and budget management experience, as well as possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Manage and organize the execution of tactical communications plans and enterprise integration programs with the internal PR team and public relations agencies. Telecommunications Financial Analyst
Location: Carle Place, NY

Primary Responsibilities

  • Above all ensure the timely and accurate processing of all Telecom related invoices (includes managing disputes, credits, & adjustments).
  • Must take ownership and be primarily responsible for managing the ?Telecommunications Voice/Data Forecast? report. This includes ensuring identifying the impact of any changes to our communications infrastructure on a proactive basis.

  • Closely monitor Frame Relay network for financial efficiency. This includes working with the Provisioning Analyst to ensure all PVC?s are set correctly to minimize any bursting costs, as well as, ensuring proper credit is received for any disconnects/adjustments.
  • Closely monitor our voice traffic (inbound/outbound) to ensure compliance with our negotiated tariff agreements. This includes monitor ?Least Cost Routing? tables on all company PBX?s.
  • Activity download, analysis, and archive call details records.
  • Work and interface with IT departmental heads to facilitate the ongoing progress and improvement of the telecommunications billing system.

Vice President/Director ? Ecommerce

The VICE PRESIDENT ECOMMERCE will have responsibility for Application Development of the multiple Ecommerce systems supporting the entire company at 1800flowers.com.

Reporting to the CIO, this position requires hands on technical management of internet application software teams and projects. Four main groups will report to this position; Floral Group Ecommerce Systems, Food Group Ecommerce Systems, Floral Group Ecommerce operations and the Food Group Ecommerce Operations. The individual will manage a team of more than 50 people with onsite developers and offshore developers including team leads and development managers. Key staff members are also located at various offices around the country. This individual will be responsible for managing major Outsourcer relationships in India. This individual will work in close collaboration with technology partners in Fresh Digital Product Management, Floral Product Development, IT Application Development (transactional systems), Project Management, QA, Security and Compliance and IT Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of relevant and progressive software development and management experience. In addition to the above we are looking for a candidate that is an ecommerce and social networking visionary. Someone who is familiar with web 2.0 and 3.0 technologies and has a clear vision for where the web and social networking is going over the next 3 ? 5 years. Work closely with the Sr. Manager of Forecasting, the Forecasting team and the Director of Workforce Management to improve process and documentation. Provide contingency for team members for their brands when they are out of the office. Provide rotation support to ensure 365 day a year in forecast accuracy monitoring.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities of the Director of Call Center Operations include but are not limited to the following:

  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Forecasting and Forecasting Analysts in driving standardization in of forecasting process and practices across the organization.
